I was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. and often when I go back people ask "Where are you living now?". When I tell them I get the predictable response "How in the world did you end up there?". I proudly tell them the story of falling in love with a girl, while in college, who is from Clay County.
We met the summer before my Freshman year at a youth arts camp in Talladega hosted by a mutual friend. Being musicians my father and I were hired to perform, while she was hired to work as a teacher for the week. It was her day off, but after some convincing by her boss she decided to come listen to the musicians. Her decision to not stay home that day changed our lives forever. I was instantly taken by her.
We ended up attending the same college in the fall (Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL.). She a Theatre Major and I a Music Major. Inspired by her father's work as a Chiropractor I changed course and became a Biology major. After graduation from Huntingdon I went on to attend Life University College of Chiropractic. I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in June of 2010 and began work in Lineville, AL in Clay County in August of that same year.

It's been almost three years now since I moved to Clay County and in that very short amount of time my wife Robin and I have had a daughter Willow. We are both in love with Clay County; it's people, history, and beautiful scenery. I work full-time at Steele Chiropractic Family Life Center in Lineville, while my wife co-Directs the Historic Ashland Theatre in Ashland, AL.
There is a uniquely charming culture found in Clay County that I am happy to learn more about each day. I have met some of the most hard-working, caring, and devoted people here and they've taught me much more than can be impart. I'm honored to call Clay County my home and look forward to what the future holds.
